Computer Science Career Academy

Another Academy possibility floated around was a Computer Science Career Academy. This could take on a number of focuses. What are your thoughts around this idea?

School-Wide AVID

For those students preparing for college, AVID School-Wide was considered as an option. This would give needed skills to the students that want to prepare for college, as well as give skills to  students who may later decided to enter college or trade school.  This would develop the skills of rising to the challenge of rigorous courses students will encounter as they prepare for college or careers. What are your thoughts on this?

Health and Human Services Careers Academy

One option is to have a Health Careers Academy. Hall would partner with the Health/Medical Community to offer a program of study and services that would benefit both the Hall students and the students in the Health Community. What are your thoughts on this venture?

Entrepreneurship Career Academy

One option discussed is to have a focus or Academy for Entrepreneurship. With the Academy of Entrepreneurship, students will take core courses at Hall and attend Metro for skill trade course work.  The course work will be linked to Pulaski Technical College for dual credit. What are some courses that could be offered at Hall to enhance this academy?
